First, it is necessary to have a Google GCP account. With this account in hand, just follow the steps below and the step-by-step procedure:
• Create a project or choose an existing project by visiting https://cloud.google.com/text-to-speech;
• Enable the Google Speech to Text API in this project;
• Create your credentials for this service.
Service Creation and Configuration:
Step 1 - After the project has been created, search for “Cloud Speech-to-Text” and enable it in this project.
Step 2 - Activate the service in your project by clicking on the (ACTIVATE) button.
Step 3 - Access “Credentials” in the activated service and click on the button (+ CREATE CREDENTIALS).
Step 4 - Access the “Service accounts” menu and fill out the form to create the service account.
Step 5 - Click on the (+ CREATE KEY) button and select the JSON option, and confirm by clicking on the (CREATE) button.
Step 6 - Complete the procedure by clicking the (COMPLETE) button.
Step 7 – On completing the procedure, the private key will be saved and the entire integration process will be done with this credential key (JSON).
Step 1 - It is necessary to log in to the panel to perform the activation process;
Step 2 - Access the “stream” menu and when the page is loaded, click on the “actions” button of a registered flow;
Step 3 - Click on the “edit” option (example image below)
Step 4 - Click with the left mouse button on "STT Audio Transcription (group)" in "SZ." to enable the functionality. (example image below)
Step 5 - Click on “select file” to attach the credentials generated for the operation of Google STT. (example image below)
Step 6 - Select the JSON file and click Open. (example image below)
Step 7 - With the credentials selected, just save the changes made by clicking on the (Save) button.
That’s it! Google STT is now ready to be used in this service flow on any platform!
